What Seniors Don’t Need to Worry About Before a Photoshoot?
If you’ve never worked with a professional photographer before, chances are, you’re feeling pretty nervous about your upcoming senior session. What you might not know is that there is far less to worry about than you might think.
Your senior session is meant to be exciting and fun, so let’s unpack the things that you really don’t need to worry about in the days leading up to your shoot.
- The weather. Yes, the weather can be unpredictable and it’s normal to worry when you’ve selected an outdoor location. But, instead of worrying about this, why not have a plan B in place? This could be your photographer’s studio or even your home. There is always another option, and your photographer will still do everything possible to give you the results you’re hoping for. And if push comes to shove, there’s always the option to reschedule if you’re dead set on your location.
- Speaking of locations. One thing that stresses a lot of seniors out is deciding on a location for their shoot. Yes, you want your photos to be everything you’ve envisioned, but you don’t need to try and find a location alone. If you’re really worried about where to take your photos, share your vision with your photographer who can help you with a few suggestions.
- How to pose. Your photographer is a professional, which means they are there to guide you. They want your senior photos to look good just as much as you do. You don’t need to turn into a professional model overnight – your photographer will help you with poses.
- Blemishes. We all deal with blemishes and they’re no fun but don’t worry if you wake up with one on the day of your shoot. In fact, worrying about blemishes will only increase the chances of them appearing on the day of your shoot. Not only can you cover any blemishes with makeup, but your photographer will be touching up your photos too.
Feeling a little less stressed? It’s time to get excited!
