There is no right or wrong answer to which season is best for a senior photo session. It all comes down to your personal preferences as well as your availability. Just remember though, the summer heat in Las Vegas is no joke! Temperatures can reach in excess of 110+ degrees.

Summer

• The weather will be hotter than usual so be prepared for the fact that you might sweat a little, depending on the location you decide on. Scheduling your shoot at a cooler time of the day will help with this.
• Shooting in summer means you get to take full advantage of fun skirts and dresses. Just be sure you choose light, airy fabrics that won’t add to the heat.
• For summer senior sessions, you will have lots of green, colorful backdrops to work with, so choose your outfit accordingly.

• If you do opt for an outdoor session during spring, find a spot where flowers are blooming, and trees are blossoming for the perfect backdrop.
