3 Common Concerns You Might Have Before a Senior Photo Session
If you’ve recently started planning your senior photo session, it’s perfectly normal to have a few questions and concerns.
In fact, many seniors preparing for their photo sessions mostly have the same concerns. This should help clear a few things up for you.
Concern 1: When Should I Book My Senior Shoot?
Ideally, you want to book your senior session as soon as possible, particularly if you want to use a popular photographer. You can have your shoot whenever you want to but if you have a specific season in mind, the sooner you book, the better. Spring and Fall fill up really quickly.
Concern 2: I Don’t Know What to Wear
You want to look and feel your best so naturally, you will be worried about what to wear for your session. The number one rule is to wear something you feel comfortable in – it should also be clothing that fits you well. You don’t need to follow any trends. Rather stick to a timeless outfit.
When deciding what to wear, consider where your shoot is taking place and what the theme is. If there is no theme, let your unique style shine through.
And finally, if you want to feel less stressed about this aspect, start planning your outfit as soon as possible.
Concern 3: I Don’t Know What to Do About My Makeup?
If you’re not big on makeup or you don’t wear it very often, it’s still recommended that you wear some makeup. What you can do is go with a very natural look, which is both subtle and beautiful. Tell your makeup artist that you want something natural – they will know what you mean.
And if anything else is keeping you up at night about your upcoming senior shoot, speak to your photographer.
