3 Simple Ways to Give Your Senior Photos a Special Touch
It’s a new year and time to start planning your senior photo session.
There are endless possibilities when it comes to deciding what you want your photos to look like, but if you’re feeling a bit stuck in terms of inspiration, here are 3 simple ideas to consider.
- Base It on Your Personality
What is it that makes you, YOU? Bring your senior photos to life by finding ways to add your personality to the mix. Perhaps you are known as quirky or intellectual – how can you use these characteristics in your photos? Don’t forget to share your personality traits with your photographer too. This way, they can help you create images that highlight these qualities.
- Throw In a Prop or Two
Another great way to add some flavor to your photos is to use themed props. This could be something related to your passions or hobbies or themed props such as a flower crown, the banner from your new college, or confetti and balloons – the choices are almost endless. You don’t need to use props in all of your photos either, you can just use them to add some interest to a few of your images if need be.
- Bring Your Pet Along
If you adore your pet, why not bring them along to your senior photo session? This works particularly well if you’re shooting at home or at an outdoor location. Again, your pet doesn’t need to be in all the shots. You can simply take a few photos with them, giving you something to remember them by. Just make sure your photographer is comfortable with the idea and that they’ve worked with pets before.
These ideas should give you a good starting point as you plan your upcoming senior photo session, ensuring your photos are unique and personal.
