What Should I Do If It Rains On the Day of My Senior Shoot?
Depending on when you schedule your senior photo session, there is a chance it could rain on the day of your shoot.
Don’t panic – there are some other options and things to consider before you reschedule your session.
- Embrace the rain. Once you start searching for photos in the rain, you will see that these types of shoots can actually turn out really beautiful. Light rain can make for fun and whimsical senior photos.
- Add an umbrella to the mix. You don’t have to get wet right away; you can always take some photos with an umbrella and then have some fun in the rain afterward.
- Find an overhang. If you don’t want to use an umbrella, you could find a spot with an overhang to avoid wet hair. Taking photos on the edge of the rainy area makes for unforgettable photos.
- Take it inside. If you’re planning an outdoor senior photo shoot, make sure that you have an indoor plan B. This way you don’t need to stress if it does end up raining on the day. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t take a few photos in the rain toward the end of your shoot.
